Oakland is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Oakland follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Stopped in while visiting the city. Saturday about noon. The biscuits need help but the chicken is all right. Grits meh. Service was good. The layout is a little cramped but not much to be done about that. Didn't have pie but they looked really good. Would come back but I'll ask what to order next time.

One of Oakland's hidden gems. Lois The Pie Queen is a amazing restaurant. Customer service without standing. The food was amazing. Definitely planning on going back to try their lunch.

It was good...I had eggs, grits, bacon, some toast and cammomile tea. The service was great, the place is cute, but in my opinion the prices are pretty outrageous even for California. You can go to Dennys and get more food for half the price that tastes better. Again it was good, just not $35 good.

I love this place! Classic Black neighborhood diner. Old-school lunch counter and tables and pie case. The main wall is adorned with Black history and the restaurants legacy, great conversation for dining. The chicken is ππΏ, service was adequate and quick.

I enjoyed myself. The food was delicious. It wasnβt that busy at all. I had scrambled eggs, fried chicken and hash browns. My husband had pork chops, scrambled eggs with cheese w/pecan waffle. Thereβs no parking lot for parking that I saw. But there was street parking in front. There were no stairs to walk up. It would accommodate a wheelchair.
